Would it be possible to let us chose the browser it searches in, instead of just the default browser?

Hello.
You can configure any windows command.
For example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" http://starshelper.net/en/

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
this opens firefox - however when I put the site behind it nothing happens

Hmmm Nothing happens with your example either

This example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" http://starshelper.net/en/
works for Chrome perfectly.

You can check your string by using it in cmd (Win + R).
